Catholic
Schools
Parents who wish to send their children to a Catholic
School, may choose any one of our neighboring Catholic
Schools. The Pastor should be notified and a letter from
him to the school must be requested.
Beside the tuition the family has to pay to the Catholic
School, the parish will be billed for the deficit which
is more than double the tuition the family pays per
child. Thus the family is required to be an active
family in the parish, attending Mass regularly and
contributing support to the parish with an average of
$20 a week if it is possible
Religious Formation
Parents are primary religious formator of their
child
It is a grave responsibility. Their example is
pivotal
The
Religious Formation program for Mother of Divine Grace
Parish for Pre K through 10th Grade is held on Sundays
from September to May. It starts with the Sunday
9:00 am Mass and continues in the classroom until 11:00
am. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the central
act of a Catholic. Nothing can supersede it.
Therefore, the Religious Formation of the Young must be
centered around the Mass. Anything less is never
enough.
Religious formation is like a sculptor who draws out of
the block of marble
the beautiful statue. In the case of the child, it
is God's grace that draws Christ
out of him so that the Child becomes united to Christ.
The Holy Sacrifice of
Mass is the the place where we are most united to
Christ.
